Cute and Cosy
So recently I have found myself doing a lot of room decoration. I'm not quite sure if this is because it's getting closer to Christmas and the days are getting shorter but I think that we all have that autumn/winter room decoration, don't we? I think nearly everyone can admit that they like to make things a little more cosy and cute at this time of the year!! So with my current obsession being re-decorating I decided to do a room décor blog post, I am going to be showing you new inexpensive pieces you can add and how to incorporate your normal bed room colours in to a seasonal sensation.
Your bed is obviously a big part of your bedroom, it's probably the place that you spend most of your time, whether you sleeping, reading or writing (a tweet!!). To start your room decoration you can consider either adapt your current bed sheets or you can buy some new bed sheets, depending on how you want to re-decorate your room. If you want to keep your current bed cover that's great however if you are looking to buy some new covers here are some ideas...
Also to add a little more comfort to your bed, I found these really cute winter cushions that I think would look so nice all bundled up together. One of the best things about these cushions is that they are all under £10!! Theses are not only great for if you buy a new duvet cover but they would also be so easy to incorporate in to the colour scheme of your room, for example if you have a white duvet you can use any cushion to add a pop of colour and to make it more seasonal however if you have a coloured duvet for example blue you might want to consider a cushion similar to the deer one below. Try to chose one that incorporates the colour of your duvet already so that it blends together nicely.
To add a little more festivity to your room you can add the typical fairy lights!! For some reason they just make a room so much more cosy and so much more winter like!! If you haven't already seen my Glass Jar DIY then you can check it out here, I showed you how you can make your own fairy light lamp which is also another way to use fairy lights in your room!! In my DIY I added ribbon around the tops of the jars but you can buy or use any ribbon that you have to make your room more festive with a hint of colour!!
To brighten up your room even more you could go out and buy some lovely scented seasonal candles!!! I don't know about you but I literally start to burn my Christmas scented Yankee Candles at the start of November!! Yankee Candles come in many different colours so you can either chose what you like based on colour to match your room or to be more festive or you can go on what scents you like!!
