First Impressions: Soap & Glory Love At First Blush

Blushers don't currently seem to be a popular products in drugstores as there isn't much choice, instead there are the classic/average ones from Bourjois and Seventeen. There's a few that have been around for a while however they have never really captured my interest until I stumbled across this pretty looking blusher from Soap & Glory. The packaging is insanely cute and looks so pretty in my acrylic storage, as well as the actual blusher looking so gorgeous and shimmery!!

One of my first thoughts was just because it's such an appealing product, does it work? The blusher is actually quite pigmented in the sense that if I was to swirl my brush around the product and not tap off any excess product, it would transfer right onto the skin and look very bright. I would say a little goes a long way!! However when applied with a sweep of the brush to my cheeks it gives a healthy glowing natural look. It may look quite shimmery in the pan but it adds a hint of highlight and nothing too over the top with shimmer. I would say it is quite a universal shade as most skin tones would suit this colour, as I am very pale I didn't find it to be to pink or crazy looking which most blushers tend to be. So far I have found the blusher to be long lasting and remains noticeable on my skin.

It's available here for the price of £11, it does seem slightly pricey for what it is however it's a brilliant drug store blusher and one that would last a long time!! I look forward to continuing to use this blusher and I am most certainly a Soap & Glory addict!!!! I am also very happy as S&G are a cruelty free brand which is something I am becoming a lot more aware of as a make-up enthusiast and consumer. Thanks for reading, let me know any of your thoughts on Soap & Glory in the comments below...
