The Liebster Award!!

Hello everyone!! So as you may know I don't usually upload any blog posts on Fridays however earlier today I was nominated for the Liebster Award by Natt who is also a fashion and beauty blogger.

You may be wondering what the Liebster Award actually is? At first I had never even heard about it but after a little bit of research I was able to find out some information on what the award is. It did take a while to find out what the award was all about and why it exists. I did find some differences in the definitions of the award however I have tried to get as much correction information that I could. I found out that the award is given to up and coming bloggers to encourage them to continue their work. The word 'Liebster' is German and it means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, lovely, kind and pleasant.

 

The rules of the receiving the award are:

> Thank the blog that has tagged you

> Answer the questions that the tagger set for you

> Nominate 10 new bloggers (that have under 200 followers on twitter)

> Ask them 12 questions of your own

> Notify them that they have been nominated

 

These are my answers to the questions that I was asked:

 

1: What's your favourite thing to blog about?

My favourite thing to blog about is probably fashion however I really enjoy doing DIY posts!!

 

2: What's your favourite beauty product?

My current favourite beauty product is my Sleek Blush By 3 Palette.

 

3: Who's your favourite designer?

This is a tough question to answer but I would say Chanel or Stella McCartney.

 

4: How did you get into blogging?

Firstly I made a themed Instagram account where I started to upload beauty and fashion photos, I loved to talking about beauty and fashion already so blogging seemed like the next best thing. At first I was unsure how to start my blog but I eventually go there, and now I am really enjoying everything about blogging, from writing fun posts and talking to other bloggers.

 

5: What's your easy go-to outfit?

My current easy go-to autumn outfit which I am actually wearing today is thick woolly tights, a black skater skirt, a blouse, a big knitted scarf, brogues and a warm woolly winter coat.

 

6: Who's your favourite blogger?

My favourite blogger would have to be Zoella, I have watched her YouTube videos for a very long time now along with reading her blog. Zoe has achieved so much and it's so great to see what another blogger can achieve. I do read a few other fashion and beauty blogs and those are 'Heart Shaped Roses', 'Perks of being Ami' and Susanne Waglen.

 

7: What's your favourite colour?

If you can't already guess my favourite colour by the name of my blog, Instagram or Twitter then I don't know how else to tell you that my favourite colour is Pastel Pink!!

 

8: What's your favourite cocktail?

Hmmm...well I went on holiday to Greece this summer and I had the same cocktail every night for two weeks because it was so nice. I think that it may have been called a 'Refresher' but I really cant remember!!

 

9: What's your go-to lipstick colour?

My go to lipstick colour would be a nice pink, I often opt for my Mac Chatter box lipstick because I just think that it compliments my skin tone and looks good with every outfit that I wear. However now that it's autumn I have been reaching for the more burgundy colours, one of my favourite is the Kate Moss Matt Lipstick in the shade 107!!
