5 Celebrity Inspired ~ Halloween Looks

Hello my lovelies!! I hope that you are all well!! Today is my first ever Halloween blog post!! I have decided to do some Celebrity Inspired Halloween Looks, to help you decide what you can be this year for Halloween and to also show you how easy it is to put together a costume!! The five Celebrity's that I have looked at for inspiration is Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, Paloma Faith and The Saturdays. I have tried to made each look easy to re-create however you can always adapt the looks to make them more suitable for you. Most of the outfits are great for Halloween party's however if your going to be trick or treating these outfits will need a little more layering to keep you warm outside!! Links to items are in the captions of the photos!! With all of that said lets get straight in to the blog post!!

Ariana Grande - Halloween Cat
The first look is inspired by the very famous Ariana Grande. The photo that I have used for Halloween inspiration is of Ariana wearing black cat ears with whiskers drawn on her face and a low cut black top. To re-create the look for Halloween you just need a plain black dress or a plain black skirt and top. The outfit is very simple and great for a casual party. You can then pair the outfit with black shoes, flats or heels doesn't really matter, the tights are also optional. However you could always go for some funky printed Halloween tights to make the outfit a little more interesting!! You can then just take any eyeliner and do a winged liner on the eyes, then colour in the tip of your nose and add some whiskers, you can then also add a little red lippy. Ooh and don't forget your cat ears!!

Katy Perry - Egyptian Princess
Look number two is inspired by Katy Perry's Dark Horse Video. Although Katy is known for a whole range of different and funky looks this was a really easy and simple look to recreate. Firstly you just need an Aztec print dress or a multi-coloured patterned dress, the one that I found is from Topshop and it is so pretty, it has a lot of bright bold colours that really stand out, it may not be Aztec but it still goes really well with the Egyptian theme. As you can see from the photo of Katy a there is a lot of colour so as long as you include a lot of colour in your outfit it will still look great. To match your dress you can wear bright blue shoes or any other bright coloured shoes that match what your going to wear. Because it's Egyptian you can accessorise with a lot of gold jewellery. Katy is wearing a gold kind of head piece in the video and I was able to find a smaller more suitable one for only £6!! For make up I would suggest having bold eyeliner so that your eyes really stand out.

Kim Kardashian - Mermaid
Moving on to look number three, I took inspiration from Kim Kardashians Mermaid Costume. As you can see from the photo Kim is wearing this stunning, floor length mermaid style skirt. But what you can also see from the photo is that she is showing quite a lot up top, she chose to wear two shells as a bra style top with pearls draping down her neck. I think that Kim looked so amazing in this costume!! For you to recreate a more appropriate costume I found this lovely mint green skirt from top shop. It may not be tight fitting like Kim's however I think that it still pulls off the mermaid look. Instead of wearing two shells I found this really cute Bardot top, the style is off the shoulder so that you are still showing a little skin but you are not completely covered up but not to on show either. You also need to be wearing a lot of pearls, you can layer loads of pearl necklaces together to achieve the same look as her. For shoes you can just keep it simple with some strappy heels. Lastly is make up and hair, you can just get a blonde wavy wig online or just curl your own hair. For make up Kim kept it quite simple with nude lips but bright glittery eyes.

Paloma Faith - Mexican Day Of The Dead Skeleton

Celebrity Inspiration, Headband, Flower, Socks, Necklace, Earrings, Feather Boa, Lipstick, Eye Shadow, Shoes and Dress.
Moving on to a very fun and colourful look is Paloma Faith in a Mexican Day Of The Dead Skeleton Costume. This is defiantly a experimental costume, you are free to go crazy with make up and bright coloured accessories. Paloma is wearing a very simple skeleton outfit, however she has gone crazy with bright coloured necklaces and bold coloured hair flowers. To recreate this I found a simple swing dress with skeleton hands making a love heart, but you can always wear skeleton legging and a skeleton top. I found these cute skeleton knee high socks that you can wear with plain black dolly shoes. Then for jewellery you can buy a head band covered in bright flowers and buy other individual coloured flowers to add them on and make an even bigger head piece. Paloma is wearing some big colourful hooped earrings and I found some that were really inexpensive and colourful too!! Next is the necklaces and I was able to find this colourful dream catcher one, that would look great with a feather boa!! Then for make up you can wear a bright red lip and experiment with bright eye shadow colours!!

The Saturdays - Pretty Little Devils

Last but not least is the fifth Halloween look. I thought that it would be a great idea to include a group look!! The Saturdays all look stunning dressed as devils for Halloween party, you could easily recreate this look with your girl friends if you all want to look the same or do a group thing. I would suggest all getting similar dresses however everyone has to be wearing something they are comfortable in. You could all wear the same coloured dresses or have the same accessories such as the devil horn head band. The Saturday's look is pretty simple, their dresses are quite short however I found this red and black flowing dress from new look which is probably more comfortable. All you need to recreate the Saturdays look is wear some devil horns, flat or heeled black shoes and a nice gold bracelet or necklace. For hair and make up you could paint your nails red to match your dress and wear a bright red lippy!! You can also add a little fake blood to your outfit to look zombie like or to look your injured. For hair you want to go really big with curls and back combing!!
