A Few Little Things
Hello my lovelies!! Today I thought I would start off by telling you a little bit about my week...I have been so busy!! Although it's half term and I get a week off college, the hard work doesn't seem to stop!! I am currently revising for my maths exam which is quite stressful at the best of times. I have also been thinking a lot about blog posts and things that I would like to write about before this year is over!! That may sound crazy but we only have two more days left of October!! Then it's November which always fly's by because it leads up to Christmas and the next thing you know it's new year!! Anyway getting on to the topic of this blog post, although I have been busy I found time to do a little shopping, as every girl does. These are all just items that I have gradually brought over October that I wanted to share with you, I intend to write reviews on some of these products that I have brought however for this post I won't go into much detail. Instead it will just be a little bit of a chit chat kind of post.
So I went in to Boots and remembered that my eyeliner had dried up so I decided to get a new one. I brought this L'Oreal one which seemed pretty good for £6.99, my friend recommended I try a L'Oreal eyeliner and I thought that this was the one, however I was wrong but so far I am really please with this product.
Whilst in Boots I also remembered that my eyebrow pencil was almost about to run out. My friend also recommended I try this Collection Eyebrow Kit which I had noticed before. It cost £3.99 and is quite good value considering you get three shades, a brow gel and a little applicator.
So as you may or may not know Elf isn't really a brand that is majorly available in the UK however the main suppler would have to be TKMax, whenever I go into my local store they always seem to have the odd few Elf products. I noticed this cute little shadow and just had to pick it up for £2.99!!
Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara
Next is a mascara that I was tempted to get for a ages. I eventually decided to buy it. I have had it since the start of October and I am quite impressed with how good it is. It usually costs around £7.99 but in my local pharmacy the price was reduced down to £5.99 which was quite good!!
So recently I have been loving Garnier skin care products. However my eye make-up remover ran out, so I wanted to re-purchase it. I looked in so many shops for the same eye make-up remover but I had no luck, I think that they may have discontinued it. It was quite annoying that every shop I went too had ran out or didn't know if they were going to be getting more stock. I eventually just decided to buy this. It removes both face and eye make up, which is always a good thing.
Pink Buckets
Moving on to none beauty related things, I brought these adorable miniature pink buckets. I had no real reason to buy these however they looked so cute and I couldn't just leave them. I think that they may have cost £1 but I'm not entirely sure. Anyway I'm sure that you will soon be seeing these again in another blog post *gives a slight hint*.
Next to the buckets and I saw these!! I mean who can say no to cute decorative tape? Not me!! There were so many cute patterns to chose from!! They came in packs of three and I of course chose the one with the pastel pink polka dot print and again these were £1.
As a keen fashion student I like to go in to my local super market and scan the newspaper isle for that lattest fashion/beauty magazines!! Due to one of my favourite magazines going digital, I haven't really found any other that I want to buy every month. Don't get me wrong I often like to buy/read a bit of Vogue, Elle and Glamour but I don't always find them interesting enough to buy each month. If you have any recommendations of good fashion magazines, you can leave them in the comments!! This is one that I picked up this month for £4.99 it is limited edition and is actually full of great fashion things that I love to read about!!
If you saw my College OOTD earlier this month then you may have already seen this amazing new winter coat that I brought from new look for £50 (however the day after I got it, new look had a sale so the coat went down to £37). It is a nice navy blue colour which I think goes quite well with every other colour in my wardrobe, it is a really big woolly and cosy coat which I think is just going to be great this Autumn, as it gradually gets colder!!
Spoiler Alert
Lastly is another new clothing item that I brought. You may be thinking why does the picture only show a bit of it? Well I'm not showing the full item because it's for a seasonal blog post that I will be uploading in November, so I'm saving it for then. I will give you a few hints on why I brought it and you might be able to guess what it is!! December is only a month away (it's actually 56 days till Christmas but who's counting...not me!! I follow the countdown to Christmas on twitter, so that why I am kinda already excited and know how may days it is!!). It means that a lot of us start to thinking about certain outfits that we are going to wear for certain party's/events. I am looking forward to writing this blog post in a few weeks!! It is going to be apart of my seasonal posts that I will start uploading mid November, so make sure you come back to check them all out!!
That is all for this blog post, I hope that you enjoyed reading this!! I know that the items I brought this month were not that interesting but you can expect some review soon on certain make-up items!! Thank you so much for reading and don't forget to come back soon...Bryony xx
