Monthly Favourites
Hello my lovelies!! I hope that your all well!! Today I going to be telling you what my August favourites have been. I have a few make-up, skin care and body care pieces to talk about and a few items that aren't beauty related but items that I still wanted to include. I tried to keep it short and sweet and I hope that you enjoy!! (I have made a link to each item that I have mentioned)
1: Maybelline Foundation Dream Pure BB Cream is one of my favourite BB creams. I have used this for the entire summer holiday and I honestly would recommend it to anyone. It is one of those products that you can easily apply if you don't want a full face of make-up but still want to look nice and have some coverage.
2: Sleek Eyebrow Stylist is a product that I have been loving for quite a while now. I haven't tried too many brow products but honestly I think that the sleek stylist has got to be one of the best!! It is very much like a pen and is so easy to use, on one end is the wax and on the other end is a spooly which is so useful!! The colour is perfect for me and it is a really affordable product.
3: Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon In Peach On The Beach - I have been loving this lip crayon recently because the colour is very summery and bright. It is kind of a coral colour but with orangey tones. It is moisturising and the texture is silky however the only disappointing part to this product is that it doesn't last as long as it says. It claims to last ten hours however every time that I have worn it, it only seems to last 4/5 hours with out me needing to top it up.
4: Garnier Simply Essentials Gentle Eye Make-up Remover - At the start of August I brought this Garnier Eye Make-Up Remover. I never really used eye make-up remover before because I thought that using my Micellar Cleaning Water would be enough. However I was wrong, it is so much easier to use a eye-make up remover because it's made specifically to remove the eye make-up. Garnier is a great brand that really suits my skin and this product was really inexpensive. It does such a great and easy job at removing my eye make-up, I am 100% please with this product and will defiantly be buying it again!!
5: Simple Vitamin Foaming Cleanser - Simple is also another brand that really suits my skin. All of the simple products work really well and they are all very affordable. Throughout August I have been using their foaming facial cleanser. When you pump it out it is really foamy and smells really fruity. It is easy to use and is really soft on the skin, it's light weight and is such a fab product.
6: Lush Happy Hippy Shower Gel - If you didn't already know, I am a massive fan of Lush. I love all of their bath, body and face products. I always keep a box full of lush products in my bath room because they are really luxurious products that are nice to use. During August I decided to use the Happy Hippy shower gel because it smells absolutely amazing!! It smells of fresh grape fruit which I love so much and it leaves my skin so moisturised. I think that this was a great summer shower gel and I will most certainly use this again!!
7: This month my favourite nail varnish colour that I have become obsessed with is the Barry M High Shine Gel Nail Varnish In Prickly Pear. For some reason I have really enjoyed wearing this colour over and over again. Whilst on holiday in August I had a lilac bikini so I wore this colour to match and ever since I have not stopped wearing it. I also think that in the summer the High Shine Gel effect is really pretty.
8: The candle that I have been burning the most in august is (Yankee Candle Samplers) Pink Sands. I received the bird cadges as presents for my birthday and I brought two Pink Sand samplers to go inside. I chose this scent because it smells sweet and floral but also it has a bit of vanilla to it. The colour of the candle also matches my room and I think that they look really pretty when they are in the bird cadges. (If your interested in the bird cadges then I think that they might be from a shop called B&M)
9: My favourite perfume this month was the River Island - Paris. I have had so many bottles of this perfume and I honestly think that this is such good value for what it is. It cost just £12 from River Island and I love it so much. It is a perfume that you would wear all year round and it smells very floral, with a mix of vanilla which is really sweet. I am not very good a describing smells but this is lovely!!
10: Last but not least, one of my favourite songs through out the month of August was probably Becky G - Shower.
And that's my monthly favourites complete!! I hope that you have enjoyed reading this blog post and make sure that you come back on Wednesday when I will be uploading my new post!! Thank you!!
