Hair Care Empties
Hello everyone!! Today I am going to be doing my Hair Care Empties post, if you watch any YouTube beauty channels then you may have heard of the Empties videos. These are basically video which beauty channels do to show you what products they have used up. These products could be anything from a mascara, to a make-up remover, a body lotion or a shower gel. This is also more of a fun way to review products and it makes it a lot easier to trust what your being told, as the people making these videos have obviously used the whole product and can give you their honest opinions. I have never seen a blog post on this before and so I thought it would be a good way for me to do a review on hair care products that I have loved and used up. Yet again this is another long blog post but if you want to know about one specific product, you can scroll down, find product and underneath will be my review. (I will leave links at the bottom of this post to some of my favourite YouTube Empties videos)
Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day Shampoo - £5.50 Boots
I got this shampoo a few weeks ago and I wanted to try it because I love everything from soap and glory range. I am a huge fan of this brand and I have a lot of their body moisturisers, body/facial exfoliators, skin care treatments and make-up. The packaging for all of their products is really pretty and colourful, their products always smell amazing however when I first brought the shampoo I was not sure of the scent. Usually their products smell really sweet, fresh and fruity, but to me this one didn't. It still had the classic peach scent which most soap and glory products do but this one didn't appeal to me at first. The first few times that I tried this shampoo I wasn't very sure if I liked it or not. Eventually after using it for a while I got used to the smell and I actually like it now. The consistency of the product was quite thick which most shampoo's aren't. Because of the consistency it was quite hard to cover my long hair but when it was rubbed in, it was soft and very foamy. It translucent pink toned colour. I liked the smell that it left in my hair once it had been washed and blow dried. However this would not be a product that I will purchase again, overall it was an okay product but I think that I will stick with other brands for my shampoo.
Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day Conditioner - £5.50 Boots
This is the conditioner which has very similar packaging to the shampoo however this bottle is slightly see through, so you can actually see the product that is inside. I found that this conditioner had a slightly thinner consistency than shampoo, I didn't really like this because it was hard to cover my long hair. At first I didn't think I would enjoy this product at all but the end result after blow drying was really nice, it left my hair with a nice shine and scent but also it was really silky and soft. After using the product a few more times, I started to prefer using another brand of shampoo and this conditioner. I defiantly think that this product provided my hair with moisture so that it wasn't dry or dull looking. I would rebuy this product because it did seem to make a difference to my hair. However I like to have matching shampoo and conditioner which unfortunately means I probably wouldn't buy it again unless I just needed a conditioner.
Batiste Dry Shampoo - £2.99 Boots
Batiste Dry Shampoo is one of my favourite ever hair care products and I'm sure lots of you could say the same. This is a really popular product that I use a lot of the time. My favourite fragrance that I have had would be Blush because it had a really fruity and fresh scent. Oriental would come second because the fragrance is a mix of wild berries and jasmine, this is probably more of a subtle fragrance. My least favourite would be Cherry, the scent I am defiantly not sure of, I think I prefer more fruity scents and this defiantly is not as fruity as the other two. This is an instant hair refresher that absorbs any grease. It works with any hair type, colour or style. It makes your hair go from dull looking to fresh and clean and the thing that I love most about it is that it takes seconds to do and it is really simple and a brilliant everyday product.
Argan Oil Hydrating Hair Mask - £1 Asda
This Argan Oil Hair Mask is one of my all time favourite hair care products. It is a product that I have continuously used for the past few months and is a product that I will continue to use. It is really inexpensive (which is always a good thing) also the matching shampoo and conditioner are just £1 each. I actually quite like this brand and I have tried all of their hair care products, my favourite is this hair mask. The mask has a really nice consistency and is really easy to apply all over my hair. It leaves my hair silky and I like to use it especially if my hair feels dry or damaged because it adds shine and a lot of moisture. I try to use this roughly three times a week to keep my hair looking nice.

Tresemme Heat Protection Mist - £5.49 Boots
I think that a good heat protection spray is vital to keep your hair looking good. I don't always straighten or curl my hair however when I do I always have to use a heat protection spray. I know that Tresemme is a well known brand, however I have never really liked their shampoo's and conditioner's. But I do like this heat protection spray and I like it's fruity fragrance. I noticed a difference to this heat protection spray, compared to previous ones that I have tried and this one does help to keep my hair less damaged. However one thing that I don't like about this product is if I spray too much my hair can feel a bit sticky and coated. Overall I enjoyed using this product and I would defiantly rebuy it.
