Macaroons & Mac Lipsticks ♡

 

Hellooo everyone so I'm back again with some bits and bobs to blog about...recently I feel like I haven't really had the time to sit down and write a chit chat blog post (which I love doing). I did plan for this post to go up on Monday however January is proving to be a hectic month full of busy dates in my diary. In fact last Saturday (the 17th) was my birthday and I turned 17!! I did say quite a few time on my birthday that I'm turning 17 today on the 17th of January...I mean I am only going to be able to say that once, right!!! It does seem a little crazy that I am now old enough to learn how to drive and speaking of learning how to drive if you want to know what this post is all about then it is sort of me telling you about my birthday and also a catch up chit chat!!

 

Let's start with the morning of my birthday, I woke up quite early because my parents had booked me a two hour lesson which was quite fun but a bit nerve-racking when it came to actually moving the car!! I have always wanted to drive and hopefully I will be on the roads by the end of May!! I have literally been waiting to drive since I was 16 and to now being having lessons is great!! After my lesson I headed home and got dressed up and ready to hit the shops!!

 

Me and my mom spent the day spoiling ourselves, visiting one to many shops and doing a bit of debit card damage!!! We had a lovely Starbucks for lunch, I had a cheese toasty and a caramel crème blend...it was delicious. After lunch we also had a nice look around Selfridges which I always love to do!! And I did treat myself to a new Mac Lipstick which I am loving...so you can expect a review on soon!! I had such a fab time and I am so excited because I have so many new blog posts that I can't wait to share!!!

 

You may be wondering why I named this post Macaroons & Mac Lipsticks? Well whilst having a good look around Selfridges I thought why not pick up some Macaroons because I had never tried them before and it was my birthday. I do have quite a sweet tooth but these Macaroons were so sugary and sweet that I couldn't even eat them in one sitting!! Anyway I have two mac lipsticks that perfectly matched the colour of these macaroons, Chatterbox and Snob. So it made quite a pretty picture!!

 

Okay moving on to the last few bits and bobs that I wanted to mention...I will hopefully be uploading more consistently over the next few weeks as I have been slightly slacking with my busy schedule.
