Intu Merry Hill SS15 VIP Fashion Preview Event

Hello everyone, today I have another fun post as well as my Blogging Challenge #Day21!! If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you may have noticed some pictures that I uploaded from an event that I was luckily invited to attended, on Thursday 19th March. The event was held at my local Intu Shopping Centre. The evening was a blogging/press event to promote and show case new high-street fashion launches from a range of high-street retailers for SS15. In this post I have put my pictures from the event as well as my favourite pieces that I found online, so that you can easily shop the styles from the show. Tomorrow I will be uploading another post to share with you the goodies I received at the event, along with information about how you also can attend Intu Shopping Centres fashion and beauty events. There is also a completion for a £500 Intu prize package!!! Bag, Blazer, Crop Top & Shoes

First up is New Look, a lot of their new spring styles have tropical and floral prints, the colours range from pastels to bold statement spring colours. My favourite item was the blue chunky heels, they add a nice pop of colour to any outfit!!

 

Bag, Shirt Dress, Trousers & Necklace

Next up on the catwalk was Warehouse with boho styled looks, the middle photograph shows a perfect example of layering for this time of year, palazzo trousers, a loose cami top, a touch of denim and a knit kimono. My favourite outfit from warehouse has got to be the forest/leaf print shirt dress, a great transitional piece from winter to spring and a great piece to dress up or down.

Blue Top, Scarf, Blazer & Dress

The third high-street brand to make an entrance on the catwalk was Phase Eight, with clothing aimed at more mature woman these outfits were elegant and sophisticated yet stylish and relevant, I loved the outfit in the middle as all of the textures and prints worked really well together. The long-sleeve blue top has an almost sheer layer at the bottom which is delicately detailed in a polka dot print, the darker blue specs off the scarf bring this outfit together!!

 

Kimono, Yellow Bag, Turquoise Bag & Trousers

 Next is Oasis with a bright pop of colour!! If these clothes don't say spring/summer then I don't know what does, I love have stylish the first outfit is, the blue and yellow work so well together and I love the colour combinations!! I also love outfit number two its so quirky, fun and fashionable!!

 

Denim Jacket, Striped Top, Skirt, Bomber Jacket & Top

 Moving on to shop number four we have Topshop!! I always love the clothes in Topshop and I am especially loving the clothes that were on the catwalk, the bomber jacket makes any outfit look cool in my opinion!! I can not stress enough how much I love the blue striped and floral skirt with the striped top, it just goes so well together and it is the perfect pretty outfit for spring!!

 

Jacket, Backpack, Pom Pom, Shorts, Crop Top & Trousers

 Next up is the one and only River Island, these catwalk outfits show exactly how versatile the new spring/summer clothing is!! The two piece can be worn together or apart and make for a really pretty spring outfit as well as being casual or dressy. The backpack with the textured pop pom adds a nice classic touch to an outfit whilst the crop top and palazzo trousers would be great for a festival!!

 

 

The last clothing store is Diffusion. This is a shop where they stock designer brands, outfit number one is quite glamorous and would look great on a girly day out or for lunch with a friend. The jeans are a light pastel pink which looks great when you can see them in the light, the sheer shirt/blouse makes this look ultra feminine and classy with the blue coat. The last outfit is unique, fun and fab!!

 

 Here are a few snaps of the mannequins that were around the room at the event, they are all also wearing new S/S15 clothing.
