Clothes Show Live 2014 Haul
Hi everyone, I hope that you are all well!! Today I am doing a very exciting blog post, which is my Clothes Show Live 2014 Haul, I will pretty much be showing you all of the things that I brought and my experience this year!! However I am currently sat in a college class and I have discovered that I can access my emails and my blogging page...which means that I may get a little bit behind on college work. So to start with I went to the Clothes Show on Sunday 7th December, at the Birmingham NEC arena. I arrived at around 9:30am and I left around 5:00pm so it was a long day.
The first stand that I go to each year is Barry M, they sell their goody bags for £10 which is a great deal considering they say the contents is at a supposed value of £60!!! Each year they do a different mix of products from nail varnishes, to eyeliners, mascaras, glitter dusts and lip glosses. The bag this year contained two eye glitter dusts, one metallic eyeliner, two kohl pencil eyeliners (one of which is matte), one lip product and six different nail varnishes.
After Barry M me and my friend wondered round the haul for a while just to get a feel for where most of the stands were. I found myself heading back to the Starbucks stand a lot of the time as they give out free little samples of drinks, however there is a slight twist. When you get your little sample cup you have to check the bottom to see if there is a sticker, a red sticker meant that you won a candy cane, a gold sticker meant you won a free cup and the green sticker meant you won a Starbucks hamper. I won two candy canes and a cup. I also won one last year but it's still fun to go to the stall!!!
At around 10:15am me and my friend walked past the 'Now Magazine' sofa area where celebrity's do their meets and greets. Jim Champan was the next meet and greet celebrity, so me and my friend decided to join the que. We literally only waited ten minutes and we were about tenth in line. If you don't know who Jim is then he is a vlogger on youtube and his fiance is Tanya Burr and he is friends with Alfie Deyes (PointlessBlog), Zoella, Marcus, Niomi and a load of other YouTubers. He was so nice and it was actually weird meeting him as I watch his videos and actually meeting him in person is like watching him in a video, anyway here is my photo with him...
Next I went to Cosmopolitan, where they sell their goody bags for £2. Each goody bag is different and it contains around seven or eight products including their magazine, my goody bag included...
This months issue of the magazine, a little miracles white tea, a sample size of the 'Urban Fudge' sea salt spray, four little chocolate samples, a Tresemme shampoo and conditioner sample, a tooth pick, a tanning voucher, two Yardley body moisturiser samples and a sample of Strelia chocolate shower gel. Considering the magazine it's self is worth around £3.50 so it is such a good deal!!
After buying my Cosmopolitan goody bag I went to the W7 stall. I have never before tried any W7 products and so I was debating on whether I want to waste my money in case the products were rubbish. I decided to buy the 'In The Nude' Palette as lots of people say that is a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3. So far I have been loving this palette, all of the colours are so pigmented and I think that I will defiantly purchase a few more W7 products.

Excuse the bad quality of this photo!! |

Next I brought this Carmex lip balm for £2. I have never tried Carmex products before but I really like it so far, I chose to buy the original Carmex in a tube. At the clothes show there was a lot of choice but this seemed like the best one to try. I have already seen an improvement in my lips and they are always so moisturised. However I have been into Superdrug and Tesco this week and found that it is cheaper on their current offers, but I still think I got a good deal!!
The last thing that I wanted to mention was the Vintage Cosmetics stand that was at the Clothes show this year, although I didn't buy anything I did get 25% off vouchers for my next order. They sold goody bags for £10 which contained a mixture of there products, no bag was exactly the same but most of them contained at least four make-up brushes, tweezers or nail clippers and eyelashes. I just thought that their packaging and prints on their products are so cute!!
And that's all for this years Clothes Show Haul, thank you so much for reading, if you went to the clothes show comment below letting me know what you brought or if you didn't go let me know what you think of any of these products!! See you all soon!!
Bryony xx
I love the look of the Barry M goody bag, even better if it is worth £60! Bargain!
