What I've Explored In My First 13 Days Of Uni
The 23rd of September is of some what a significant day in my life, last year I passed my driving test and this year I moved to University. It has been 13 days since I made my new home here in Nottingham and have settled in quite well. I won't go into details about the moving process and how jam packed my car was on moving day or how much of a blur freshers week is due there being a party each night of the week and the large consumption of alcohol everyone had. However what I will talk about is the time in-between all of the starting chaos of uni and what I have discovered in this city so far.
One of the first days started by exploring Nottingham with Lydia and Chrissy from my course as a part of our induction week treasure hunt task. Backlash was a cool little vintage shop we came across whilst discovering places in Nottingham.
We also came across The Rescue Rooms Bar which had vibrant, artsy painted walls outside. One other stop on the treasure hunt was the comic book store, Page 45.

Whilst on my way to catch the bus I couldn't resist a quick trip into Urban Outfitters. The UO store that I visited in Nottingham had quite a lot to offer, with a great selection of their latest collections including a lot of pleated clothing items, oh and a great sale rack too! Not to mention the smallest, cutest, baby cactus of all time!!
My favourite stop of all was during my four hour break to The Pudding Pantry where I indulged in this S'mores FreakShake. For £5.95 this was so worth it!! I enjoyed an hour of chit chat with the girls, a very filing chocolatey milkshake all whilst I sat in a very aesthetically pleasing environment. The Pudding Panty had a rustic, vintage feel with a modern urban twist and I will defiantly be visiting again. That sums up my first few experiences in Nottingham and I can certainly say there are going to be many more!!!
